Dragon Roost Cavern

Location and Entrance

Dragon Roost Cavern is located on Dragon Roost Island and does not need any items to enter. The player must throw bomb flowers into the open holes in the statues next to the entrance to make a pathway over the lava. This can be sped up with the use of the Deku Leaf skipping both statues leafing across the lava. You can still skip the last statue without leaf by bomb boosting to the other side or doing a jumpslash to extend the distance of your jump at the very end, saving around 1 to 4 seconds depending on the method.

Wacky bomb boost

This is faster than the regular bomb boost, but it requires to throw the bomb at a somewhat precise angle and to jump at the very edge of the statue immediately after.

Jumpslash across

This is the fastest leafless method to get across. It still requires a somewhat precise angle and to time a jumpslash at the end of your jump. It also requires a sword or the Skull Hammer.

(Note: Using regular bombs for any strat is slower than using flower bombs because they take considerably longer to explode with the exception of the second bomb for wacky bomb boost, where it doesn't really matter)
